console.log messages not shown #632

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.make a simple hybrid apk with html file that has 
'console.log("my_log_message");'
2.test manually & with robotium testcase 
3.check log messages

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
the log message comes up when I run the app manually. Not seen only when I run 
the robotium test-case.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
robotium 5.2.1 on android L preview
