can't get my contact list #18

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.launch desktopsms : usb or wifi
usb : says launching server then stop
wifi : shows an ip on phone but that's all
didn't had this problem with previous version

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
to see my contact list
nothing
DDMS shows all my contact with error in front 
08-30 14:57:50.784: ERROR/ERROR(5565): Channel close

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
latest with windows seven and htc hero

Please provide any additional information below.

Hi, with the HTC Hero I have the same issue, but with the new version (uploaded 
since
30 min), this issue is solve ;-)

do you have installed the new version of server and jar file in the pc ?

uninstalled and installed again and nothing new

Ok on the phone, uninstall and install, but the jar file in pc ?
For launch (in USB) :
Launch APP in the phone, a message appear, launch it a second time, you do see 
the
app print your IP adress etc.
At this time, launch the jar file in you PC and connect

I have the same issue.
server startet at my htc magic and then the pc client. after clicking on 
"connect"
the symbol on the bottom left turns green. after 3 seconds it disconnects again 
and
turns red. 
(sorry if my english is horrible, i´m german ;-) )

Wow, i thought i corrected this problem yesterday, seems not.
I had a ping/pong every 5 seconds to detect shutdown of the wifi connection.

i doesn´t have tested it over wifi. this problem is in usb mode.

The Problem has solved for me. On another pc it works. Maybe there was a 
problem with
the usb driver
