Can't checkout code via svn #28

What steps will reproduce the problem?
The command line:

  svn checkout http://desktopsms.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/
desktopsms-read-only  

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect to check out the code.  Instead, I see:
svn: URL 'http://desktopsms.googlecode.com/svn/trunk' doesn't exist

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Ubuntu 9.10, svn version v1.6.5
