Count of objects in autocomplete box does not reflect current selection #9

In the data I have loaded I appear on one paper, so if you start typing in Burke into the autocomplete you see "Burke, D(1)" and "Burke, W(1)". so far so good. If I then apply one or more facets that remove my paper from the selection (e.g. keyword of "space vehicles") then the autocomplete still lists both authors as having 1 match, but if you select me you get no matches [for Burke, W it is actually correct that it still says 1].

Commit 0fac1c5941bd3dc88386 is an attempt to solve this, unfortunately it doesn't seem to work reliably.
