[Request] Block sites using a layover instead of redirecting to a moz-extension:// URL #88

Summary

Blocking sites by redirecting to a moz-extension:// URL messes up pinned tabs.

Details

Sometimes I keep helpful links from good subreddits like https://www.reddit.com/r/productivity/ as pinned tabs for future reference or a constant reminder. Unfortunately, Reddit itself is a distraction, and so I tend to block www.reddit.com. This creates a problem where the helpful links, that I "saved" by pinning the tabs, are lost due to the redirection to moz-extension://. Another issue is when I disable the add-on temporarily (like during weekends), all these blocked tabs are closed automatically, and I permanently lose any reference to those pinned tabs.

Solution (Suggestion)

I would prefer if the URLs don't change at all. A less intrusive blocking method like showing a layover over the blocked site would be much preferable in my opinion. Having an option to choose such a blocking method would be really appreciated.
