Will only work in macOS/Ubuntu after removal of opencv-python, otherwise error messages relating to a link to libGL will occur.

Sounds like a squad and merge, @dbouget? xd You can click the dropdown of the Merge pull request green button and choose Squash and merge if you want to avoid the commit history being a bit too noisy.
