Tesla Coils Placed Next to Eachother #247

Description

Howdy, itsyaboy Flood here.

I have trouble explaining how it gets into this state because I'm not sure. The only thing I know for certain is that when the Tesla Coil is inactive for long periods of time and I come back to the frontline, I'm able to place one next to it.

It could be based on time inactive, although I'm not sure for how long. If I pick up both tesla coils and try to place them both next to each other again I can't.

I'll be trying to work this out for the next 30 minutes on what causes it. I'll update this post if I do...

Once it's in this state it doesn't seem to ever check again for a Tesla coil near it. Even when it re-activates to charge an energy absorber. I can also place another Tesla Coil right next to it unless I pick it up. My latest test I waited back at my mall for 30 minutes before teleporting back to the front and it had broke.

I'm going now to wait at the frontline for 30 minutes to see if I can get another one to break and rule out distance.

Alright, really not sure how it's caused now. I was able to stand next to the Tesla Coil and after a wave had attacked within less than 5 minutes I was able to place another Tesla Coil next to it...

Figured it out. When takes any damage it'll no longer check around it to prevent other Tesla Coils from being placed.
