Upgraded to Mk4 power armor and lost all my upgrades #363

Description

I didnt take out all of the things from my Mk3 power armor grid as I usually forget and it gets dropped into my inventory and when i put it in the assembler to craft it into the Mk4 it shows they are still inside of it, witch i didnt notice till watching back the video, but when I pulled out the Mk4, it was of course empty.

this was most recent update of factorio and K2, just updated yesterday.

Reproduction

make Mk3 power armor put something in the grid upgrade without removing the stuff from the grid Mk4 will be empty

This is vanilla behavior and there isn't anything I can do about it. Make sure to remove the equipment before you use it in crafting.

but in vanilla you cant upgrade armor. I like being able to upgrade armor rather than making every tier over and over but this seems like a hard punishment for simply forgetting to remove stuff. there isnt a way to make it drop the upgrades when placed in the assembler?

There is no event I can hook to consistently prevent this from happening, I'm sorry.
