SF February Ruby on Rails Workshop #49

I have very strong interest from an awesome company to host a workshop in February, will fill in the details after the long weekend but wanted to reserve the spot as soon as possible.

They also want to do a round of lightningish talks either during the installfest or at the workshop where developers at the company talk about how they got their start in web development, career path, challenges, advice etc. This seems like something that could be extremely positive.

Hi @ruchikakumar thanks for asking... I just got back from my Thanksgiving vacation last night and have a day job to take care of today but I hope to have more details in the next couple of days at the latest.

No update yet but soon as I have one I will post it. In the meantime definitely if I am blocking another workshop from being scheduled this month let me know and I can step up communications/possibly move this to March.

Good news the host is checking their calendar for February and are optimistic about making this happen. Once I get the final ok and some proposed dates I will create an actual event with checkboxes and such. :)

Awesome, can I suggest weekend of Feb 7th, or otherwise Feb 21st?

Heya, I think that should just naturally work out since we likely won't have the event on Valentine's Day or the very end of the month.

Closing this issue as this workshop will likely happen in March or April instead of February.
