@chastell made a great first draft of what such an app (tutorial) should look like for Rails Girls Warsaw. I added it to the curriculum and will go through it with a group of beginners on Saturday - already see some room for improvement (adding numbering to steps, changing the wording to be less... lingo, adding a 'chapter' about CSS), please feel free to send in your pr's as well: http://guides.railsgirls.com/diary-app/
