For projects I think the following information could be displayed:

• Name
• Logo
• Description (maybe extracted from about.md see #4)
• Examples (Screenshots / Images)
• Link to docs
• Link to repo (GitHub or Gitea)
• Link to external package depending on project (like ctan)
• License / Copyright

Also possible, but I don’t know if needed:

• language (e.g. latex / tikz, teaching material)
• Last publish date
• Version

• mission statement
• contributing encouragement
• contributing guidelines
• contact

I know its not that popular, but you should also think about legal notices for the website

We can think about wich information we can get automatically out of the git repos. When the filestructure of all repos are unified logos, screenshots, license, ... could be pulled automatically.
