she wants to see the cow show up more in the game hahah. she said it's too cute and it shows up on this end game screen and she wants it in more places

We could consider adding a Rainbow Cow bonus item. Off the top of my head, we could have a mechanic where when the player gets 5 harvest bonuses in a row, the Rainbow Cow appears on the screen for one full game day. If the player taps the Rainbow Cow, it immediately matures all crops on the field and harvests them.

that could be a neat bonus mechanic. when i heard the feedback i was thinking it could even just be our presentational mascot. like the tutorial (we haven't built yet) can be "spoken" from the cow (dialog bubbles), and when the player levels up (or similar events) it can pop out and say motivational things like "great job! keep it up!" etc. i hadn't though about trying to include it in gameplay, but will circle back here once i've thought about it some more

I like this idea overall! I wonder if we could use the Scarecrow for this purpose instead, though? I'm thinking it could act like the player's friend to guide them through the experience. I'd like the Rainbow Cow to be saved for more rare and special game moments (like a getting a valuable bonus, or beating the game) to make it a bit more exciting and mythical.

i think this sounds pretty fun, i'm mostly thinking about the condition to cause the event to happening and thinking we should up it to 9 harvest bonuses. mostly because it indicates the field has been leveled up at least once, but it also takes a bit more coordination to make the event slightly more rare. the player has over 20 plots by the end of the game so they could still cause it to happen very regularly with careful planning (which i think is a good thing).
