Chromebook freezes on login #101

Describe the bug When logging in when enrolled, the chromebook freezes.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Fakemurk process
  2. Attempt to sign in
  3. Hangs

Expected behavior Being able to login without hanging

I have restarted it a couple times and it works for like 1 second and it just freezes after

Can you still access VT2?

So is anyone going to come back to this issue? I need some help urgently since I'm worried about having to take the SBAC soon.

Not sure what the issue could be. You still have the option to re-enroll and revert, though. Disable devmode, wait for it to scream at you because verity is disabled, then recover from your desired version on a thumbdrive.

Ive tried doing that too.

The issue is that when its on fakemurk and I try to login, it just hangs the chromebook for some reason.

I need some help urgently since I'm worried about having to take the SBAC soon.

Then just... use it enrolled? Just a thought.

Thats the thing. When I enroll it and login, it freezes my chromebook. Thats what Ive been trying to say

Interesting. There's no reason that this should be happening at all. This is probably just a hardware issue or something with your device specifically, unless someone else can repro.

I'm going to try to fakemurk it again when its fully charged and see if that works

Hey so I am able to access the VT2 terminal but it still is hanged.

Found a fix.

Wait for the chromebook to set itself up completely before actually opening anything.
