Unknow box bug #177

Open alkaris2 opened 4 months ago

Recently the Nova YouTube extension started showing this red and white lined boxes around descriptions of videos and auto-scrolling the page down to it on page load and I can't get to to stop doing that, every video page I go to displays this red and white box, while also auto-jumping the page down to the description page and I can't get it to stop doing this undesired behavior.

I haven't changed anything with the Nova extension recently, and yet one day this starts happening. If I disable the extension completely the problem goes away. I don't know what this is, or what's causing it to jump the page AND display a box around the description section while auto-jumping the page down to the description once the page loads. If I click anywhere on the page the boxes disappear, but it's super annoying that every video I go to now just shows this box, and scrolling the page down to the description when the video is playing after page load.

I have not enabled any of the Scroll to Top options except for "No scroll to top when clicking timestamps" and "Disable scrolling in Full Screen player" How do I get rid of this box from appearing other than disabling Nova, and how do I stop it from jumping the page down to the description on page load?

I'm using the latest Userscript version of Nova with Violentmonkey 2.19.0 with Firefox fork FireDragon.

I think this might be related to the "Expand description" option, even though it's disabled in my setting, it would appear this setting is applied regardless if toggled ON or OFF.

I just noticed it myself disable this plugin: Custom On-Screen Display (OSD)

@raingart thanks for the suggestion, but the plugins page is blank

I am not the OP, but I am having the same problem

Can't find that option in the plugin settings, and browser doesn't have any custom OSD settings either.
