I'm not that familiar with how nerd-fonts works behind the scenes but recently I noticed a lot of the icons I had setup were broken. Investigating further it looks like nerd-icons moved a lot of the material-design code points to a new location in v2.3.3 and then deprecated the older code points. Would it be possible to update the data definitions on nerd-icons to point to the new ones so that the icons are consistent even for those using custom nerd fonts (not the ones installed by nerd-icons)? I'd be happy to send a PR for this but this might not be needed if the data files you generate are based on the same config you use to generate the patched fonts.
