improve error message responses #42

currently most errors result in a 500 response. This is not really useful. Some errors are due invalid user data and we need to report this back to the user. see https://github.com/raintank/worldping-app/issues/85

this has been resolved with the release of the v2 api which is used by worldping-app v1.0.10
