I'm a plotting a RNAseq normalized counts matrix using pheatmap function with a clustering based on euclidean distance. Counts values range from 5000 to 3 approximately and the heatmap legend ranges from 3 to -3. So, I don't understand what is the correspondance between the matrix values and the values presented in the heatmap.
