needing wireless tethering for thunderbolt #1472

Which device (manufacturer, type)?
HTC thunderbolt
Which firmware is installed?
2.3.4 rooted software # 2.11.605.9
What version of wireless tether are you using?
2.0.8-pre1
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.pushing tether button 
2.it grants su permission
3.then tether error check show log

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
loading bcm4329.ko module 
(fw_bcm4329_apsta.bin from/etc/firmware)...done

Starting access-point....failed 
Activeing wifi interface...failed. 
Enabling NAT rules....done 
Enabling IP forwarding....done 
Tethering now running...done 

Please provide any additional Information below.

I'm also having trouble with my wifi turning on. It wants to continually turn 
on and off without stopping. Even rebooting the phone doesn't stop this.
