AtherosL1cEthernet.kext not working properly in Lion #22

Hi. I am running Mac OSX Lion on Lenovo B450 model. The AtherosL1cEthernet.kext 
was the perfect solution when i was using Mac OS Snow Leopard, but after 
updating to Lion, this driver is working, but the problem is:

Even if i am disconnected from the LAN, it will still show as connected with 
some IP and then if i connect any LAN cable, only if i reboot the OS, it will 
assign the proper IP from the DHCP and this is really troubling me a lot 
everytime!

Please help if possible!
