Attach Volume - Device Name (/dev/sdc) not working #136

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create a volume
2. Attach a volume to an Instance , pass the parameter for device Name as 
/dev/sdc (without NUmbers)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

With Euca2ools, if the device name is given without number it is working.
But with Typica, it throws Error

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Centos 5.5 64Bit, Eucalyptus 2.0.3, Open JDK

Please provide any additional information below.

Whether this is an error or a limitation of the API ?
