Hi did you see my suggestion that people opting in to use the bot should create a text file in the root of their repo? This would mean you don't have to hardcode anything and deploy the bot.

Thanks for your feedback.

For the text file in the user repo, there are few things I am worried about:

• how do we configure twitter handle for the whole org vs repo. (e.g. openfaas for all repos)
• we will need to ask for additional permission of 'read code'. Though most of the repos we deal with will be public repos, but now people will mostly select to install the app on selected repos as they might not want to give code read permissions to their private repos.
• as a side effect of # 2, for new public repos, now we will have to wait/ask for the owner to enable it.

one possibility would be to fetch the file without asking for explicit read permissions
