You need to open Sipdroid's settings and uncheck "Use WLAN" to disable it.
A close button does not make much sense because Sipdroid would re-open on the
next
call.

What he means is that he wants to kill the process, not just stop the process
from
listening on a particular interface. That means make your call and exit.
Obviously it
would restart on the next call, this is expected. Think of it like this; it is
nice
to turn your computer off at night when you go to sleep. By your reasoning, why
would
you bother to turn it off since it will just turn back on next time you turn it
on.

Why not add to option to start/stop the service. If it doesn't operate as a
standalone app then please give the means to control the service. Turning WLAN
etc
off or on is a (hopefully temporary) workaround not a solution.
Thank you for your work on this project.

I installed "Advanced Task Manager" to try killing it. I ended the App and
didn't see
any related processes, but when I make a phone call it comes on again. How is
the app
launching itself if it is not running?

I agree. I would like an option to end the program completely without it
reinitializing with every incoming call.

Or, how about a checkbox "Start on boot"?

now there is a stop button, but I cannot really stop it.
But process keeps running.
Why not just completely stop/unregister sipdroid when wifi/3g/edge are all off
? (or
add a toggle active/inactive).
(I joined my logs. at the end of it I reopened sipdroid to press exit, then I
went to
advanced task manager and killed the process... which restarted automatically
just
after. This was with wlan and 3g/edge unselected)
