Might be nice to have a thumbnailer for pgn files included. Don't know how
hard this would be, if it is, then don't bother. If you can, then I think
the best way would be the final board position.

I am just a thumbnail freak.

The main problem with .pgn files, they contain more games generally. Which one 
to show?

Yeah, they can contain thousands of games.
However I think it would be okay only to show the first, or a list of names, 
like the
text previews.

The nice thing about having glchess in gnome, is that Robert Ancell is 
investigating
stuff like this.
I believe thumbnails, or at least a nice pgn-icon will be included in the next 
Gnome.
