With light blue already being part of the palette, why was a darker, saturated blue chosen for operators? It might depend on the language used, but in my case it gives me a lot of adjacent blue segments.
One Dark (Atom) – which I assume was the inspiration for this theme – sticks to regular foreground color for operators; my impression is that that this works better with this very colorful palette.
