Can't get peers with vanilla installation and configuration #1090

Hi all, I've installed rtorrent on Ubuntu Server 20.04 and downloaded the Config template

I've managed to add a Torrent to my running rtorrent client but it just sits at 0% downloaded and 0 peers.

When I select the torrent and view the details it show no peers and under IP it says 'UBFAILED'. Can anyone help me work out what I've done wrong or am missing from my setup to resolve this. Thanks in advance.

@andy47 I have a script that I support for Ubuntu Server 20.04. It will automatically setup rTorrent + ruTorrent for you. Would you like to give that a try and see if you can get rTorrent working? https://github.com/stickz/rtinst

The advantage of using an automated script, is you don't have to worry about doing something wrong. You can get a working rTorrent setup than tweak it later to your liking. This has been run and tested numerous times with multiple bugs ironed out.
