Crash Error: Success Signal code '2': Non-existent physical address. #1263

Ubuntu rtorrent 0.9.8 libtorrent 0.13.8-2build1

I'm seeing the same issue brought up before in #39:

Error: Success
Signal code '2': Non-existent physical address.
Fault address: 0xffffa0740000
The fault address is not part of any chunk.
Aborted
  1. The drive is not full.
  2. The drive passes integrity checks.
  3. The drive does not go into standby.
  4. Deleting the dht cache did not help.

My best guess right now is that it has to do with a specific torrent.

I have identified the specific torrent. What can I do to diagnose the issue?

It looks like there is a read error on the drive. It wasn't reported by fsck.
