Ive noticed this too, stopping + starting helps.
How much free disk space do you you have?
1TB+
I recently encountered this issue when transitioning from downloading .torrent files to creating meta torrent files containing magnet links.
When rtorrent picks those metafiles up, it deletes them soon tripping a schedule = blah,10,10,close_untied=
stanza. Commenting out those config lines allows the torrents to keep running.
There are 2 different issues here: A. OP: probably frontend(s) has been used with rtorrent that handles something wrong.
B. Yours: using a magnet-meta file:
or=not=$d.is_meta=,d.is_not_partially_done=
d.is_meta
is only available in the git version of rtorrent not in 0.9.6 (though there's a patch for 0.9.6)
I have had an issue with rtorrent randomly stopping torrent files, or pausing them. If I go in and attempt to start them again, they go back into a stopped or paused state. Same thing happens if I attempt to do a force re-check of data. These can be completed or partially downloaded torrents. It doesn't matter where they are along the process.
The only way I know how to resolve this is to open the rtorrent interface, go through every torrent and do the following key commands: [Ctrl] + [K] [Ctrl] + [S]
However, this can be very aggravating on 200+ torrents.
Is there any way to resolve this?
