Enhancement: search/filter function #18

It would be really handy to be able to search/filter in certain views, like the main torrent view (for users who seed many torrents) or the files view (for torrents with many files).

That is already possible, however rather unwieldy. If I ever get around to it I'll add some extra options.

Thanks for the program, I love it and am going through the src to gain understanding and functionality.

It's already implemented in rtorrent-ps https://github.com/pyroscope/rtorrent-ps , with the help of pyrocore command line util https://github.com/pyroscope/pyrocore by pyroscope. Enjoy!

I'm using the rtorrent, because it is really simple to use, just type: apt install rtorrent So I don't want to install rtorrent-ps right now? Is it possible to filter the torrents just using the rtorrent( version: 0.9.6)?

You don't need rT-PS, just pyrocore, which is an easy add-on install.

@ramwin : "So I don't want to install rtorrent-ps right now?" Just install it, you'll be amazed! There are also packages for Ubuntu/Debian for it by pyroscope or you can compile it in 15 minutes.
