Originally I was looking for something that vaguely represents arcane. However, all good ones (like pentagram or inverted pentagram) didn't render on iOS.
After some experimentation I discovered that various alchemical symbols rendered on everything I tested, and fimus equinus looked good and is approximately what crosses your mind when doing cross-platform web fonts for more than an hour (fimus bos apparently isn't a thing).

button is not super discoverable.Now if you ask what this symbol actually means, it is the alchemical ingredient fimus equinus, that is, horse dung.
