Hi Ralf, Are there any plans to add support for pdfbox 3 (and beyond)?

is there any alternative for this library?, we also upgraded the pdfbox to version 3 and looking to fix some issues

Maybe you can have a look at https://github.com/phax/ph-pdf-layout/ which does something very similar. Except for the "in text formatting" I assume it can do most of it (and supports PDFBox 3.x)

The respective in text formatting may be taken over from this library with limited effort I assume...
