Feature Idea: Media Player controls #233

I'm not sure if you consider this to be in scope of this project, but I think it might be a good idea to support media player controls. That way it may be easier to use the PC you're currently at as a player and support keyboard hotkeys, display currently playing song etc.

I couldn't find anything about that topic in the man page, so I believe this is not available right now.

This is beyond the scope of squeezelite. You can already use jivelite to control your squeezelite player. Or use squeezeplay then you don't need squeezelite since squeezeplay is both a player and controller. Builds are available from https://sourceforge.net/projects/lmsclients/files/

IN windows, you have SqueezeliteX too.
