New "About this book" page #35

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

Design an "About this book" page, which will be displayed when a user
double-clicks on a book.

It should be an HTML page which shows the book's information (title, author/s,
cover, tags, identifiers and associated files) and the possibility to access
the book editor.

The page should also display dynamic gadgets (chunks of HTML that allow you to
perform different operations related to the book in question) that would be
associated to plugins.

I think I can do this.. but I need a little orientation so I can start.. is
this supose to be a viewer plug-in like author and title? or is this a built-in
thing? I'm going to need some support.. hehe

I think it should be a built-in thing. More like the editor is implemented.

I think we could merge the actual status of this issue leaving it open until we
decide how to implement the dynamic gadgets.. or open another issue for that.

Any thoughts, reviews?

Guys, we need to define the plugins system for the gadgets so we can close this
issue, or do we leave it for later?

We can open a new issue for that, so that we can close this one and feel we're
moving on :P

Should I close the branch? or do we leave it open for the dynamic gadgets?
