Cannot open or save files on Gnome 3 #106

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install marave (rpmfusion) on Fedora
2. Start it up
3. Try to save the file

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The file-system browsing interface should pop out
It did pop-out something, but its not a file browser. Its just a blank 
rectangle. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I'm using marave-0.7-5.fc15.rpm on Fedora 15.

Please provide any additional information below.
I tried to use, one at a time, all the below options. 
  --opengl
  --use-in-canvas-editor
  --use-off-canvas-editor
The results were the same.

This is, sadly, a dupe of issues 85 and probably 91. But it appears there 
hasn't been much work done on this project in a while.  The "blank" window 
phenomenon predates Gnome 3. In fact, I suspect it occurs in most/any non-KDE 
environment.
