it looks like stockid's that contain a hyphen are having that hyphen converted to periods when used in rownames or colnames of time series objects. e.g.
in tcbest.data, the second stock is ACADRED3LNO.UT12
in the stock table, this stockid is listed as ACADRED3LNO-UT12
