Clock generator not working on the GBS-8220 #135

I installed a clock generator as described on this page:

on both a gbs-8200 and gbs-8220, it works fine on the gbs-8200 but I can't get the gbs-8220 to detect the board no matter what I do, I triple checked my install and it was proper even checked for continuity/joints and did a full reinstall without success.

There is no difference between the GBS boards that would concern the clock gen.
Best check the logs and see where it fails. I suspect an I2C problem.
