Made progress but still a bad /unsynced picture. Any thoughts appreciated.
Hm, the logs say you're outputting a high resolution preset? A regular TV will only work with downscaling, or an already 15kHz source in passthrough.
Correct, I was clicking through everything! I'm trying to downscale, and have a better result now, but it's still not right...
Right now it keeps flicking between 15 kHz and passthrough, weirdly. And, I apparently must have the audio cable connected to the VGA adaptor (i have a VGA + audio to scart from a MiSTer purchase)... so something funky with voltage or grounding?
OK, so I'm on a "stable" image, but I think it's passing through 480p due to the Lowres setting, no? Even though 15kHz is selected...
This is what I get when I click 15 kHz (input is now a PS4 in 480p mode)
Any thoughts on this?
I hoped I would be able to use GBS-C to get PS4 (Etc) working on my 15 kHz TV...
I'm sorry I can't debug this with you. One thing I noticed is that you have a H+V input (VGA style). The board works much better with CSync on the H pin (no signal on the V pin).
No problem! I really appreciate your time.
Excuse my ignorance, how would I get CSync on the Hpin/no signal on Vpin?
Best if your source can output CSync, otherwise you need a sync combiner.
Hmm. I use one of these little HDMI-VGA DAC things from Amazon, so I guess not. I'll have a look into the sync combiner thing.

TBH I was hoping it was a setting thing and not something I would have to fix in hardware :(
I've an issue with GBS-control output to my B&O MX4000. I've got a green screen, when outputting 15 kHz. Any tips?
