480p downscale results in green image #357

Hello hello I am having the same left-side-green-bars-issue seen in #128 and #152 -- I am planning to build a sync combiner, all good there. My other problem is that everything is green.

The setup is: 480p VGA → GBS-Control → VGA-to-Component passthrough cable → PVM

I have also tried connecting a Gamecube set to 480p to the GBS through component (with VGA-to-component → PVM on the other end) and downscaling works great there.

Would the sync combiner as described in #128 and #152 fix my issue? Or is this something else entirely?
