GBS-8200 v4.0 Lines on Screen #404

I just acquired an Old Sega Daytona USA standup arcade game. It has recently been upgraded to an LCD screen using the GBS-8200 board. When the unit powers up Sometimes I get the game screen but it has some really grainy parts where movement is happening. The last 2 power up attempts have had just a screen full of lines. I tried the auto scan button but nothing helps. I know nothing about these boards except for what Im seeing in these threads. Anyone have a starting point for a newbie like me? It is using the VGA output. I did try reseating connections and a new cable. Monitor checks good as well. Thanks for any help you all can offer. 20230120_190549

Today I reset the board and I have an image but the colors go crazy when the race starts.
