Not displaying on a 21in Apple Studio Display Monitor #564

I can't get my GBS-C to display anything on my old Apple Studio Display 21in Monitor through VGA.

The GBS-C works just fine through VGA to an LCD monitor.

The Apple Studio Display works just fine connected to my PC through VGA.

But I haven't been able to get the GBS-C to display anything on my Apple Monitor.

I'm hoping it's just a setting I'm neglecting. I'm using a prebuilt blue GBS-C from AliExpress btw.

I'm still not sure why I was encountering issues with it straight from the GBSC through the VGA, but using the HDMI connected to a cheap HDMI to VGA converter seems to work.
