FigTree unable to open RAxML bootstrap tree #162

Hello all,

I have the best bootstrap tree with values overlaid on branches ("nodes"), as output from RAxML.

The tree encodes the bootstrap values within square brackets, just after the branch length. However, I get an error opening the tree with RAxML saying it cannot

I never seemed to have this problem before, so perhaps it is a new issue with the latest release of RAxML?

I attempted to delete brackets and replace the first with a colon but then FigTree says I am missing a closing bracket ")" for the tree. Am I not understanding Newick format or is something else going on? I thought square brackets was the appropriate format for bootstrap replicates.

Example taxa from my Newick tree:

update: It appears if I open the bipartitions tree only then everthing is fine? I can print the bootstrap values on the tree. But the tree labeled as bipartitionsBranchLabels doesn't work?
