Feature Request: Windows 10 Start Menu Mod #960

Open SirWobbyTheFirst opened 2 months ago

Would it be possible to readd the Windows 10 Start Menu as a mod through WIndhawk? EP is being flagged as malware and shows no signs of resolution in the near future and it seems to pull from the resources already in Windows 11.

Do you mean that you'd like to have the Windows 10 start menu on Windows 11? If so, you can try the Windows 11 Start Menu Styler mod. There are several themes which resemble the Windows 10 start menu or parts of it.

If you meant something else, please clarify.

Whilst the Styler mod does partly recreate the Start Menu, one of the things I made use of in Windows 10 and Windows 11 with EP, was the groups of tiles in the Start Menu, I had things categorised as Apps, Web Apps, Admin Apps, Locations, Games and Store Apps. I have been able to partly recreate it using Start11 v2 as seen below, so admittedly I'm satisfied as is, but I imagine there will be others who might like it.

It is Start11 v2 with the Start Menu open and set to full screen. My actual desktop is blank.
