Some mod is not working #137

image None of the mods in the red box will take effect. I'm not sure if it's a mod problem or an engine problem. Maybe it's not compatible with the enterprise version? image

It just means that it didn't take effect, that is, the mod didn't have any effect when it was enabled, for example, mod Hide Search Bar, and when it was enabled it still looked like this image

I've re-read the troubleshooting page and still can't find the cause. Yesterday I followed the troubleshooting page and uploaded the logs, but they disappeared for some reason. I re-exported it, please take a look. Thank you for any help. winhawk-20231223.zip

I don't see something obviously wrong. I'm not the author of the Hide Search Bar mod (maybe @ItsProfessional can help), so let's focus on either Slick Window Arrangement or NoFlashWindow. How did you test the mods?

When collecting logs for Slick Window Arrangement, what exactly did you do? Did you try to move some window? Which one?

I recorded the video and attached the log at the time. I have only tried mod Slick Window Arrangement now, please check this first. Slick Window Arrangement-20231223-1620.zip

I only watched the video, and it seems to be working, Notepad sticks to the bottom of the screen on 00:30.

Yes, it only can stick to task bar. It dose not stick with other window.

It supposed to stick side-by-side, not one on top of the other. For example, try to place Notepad on the left or on the right near Explorer.

I'm very sorry, I made a mistake. I tried it again and the mod worked fine.

I tried the scenario where mod NoFlashWindow did not take effect. To be precise, the flashing of some windows was not blocked, such as the window flashing in the video. This window is written by pytq, not sure if this has any impact. NoFlashWindow-20231223-1745.zip

According to the logs, FlashWindow wasn't used, so the flashing was caused by another way. You can create an enchancement request. Note that this mod is a port of another tool, so it behaves the same.
