Transparent SearchHost failed to work for me, as it turned out the target should've been Border#AccentAppBorder, not the Border#AppBorder.
Have you turned on accent colors for the StartMenu ? I think that's the reason why acrylic background doesn't work in your case.
@Undisputed00x I have windows accent colors turned off for the Start Menu, still picks the default accent over the transparent background for me (SearchHost does not work, but StartMenu is proper, i.e, transparent)

I could reproduce this issue and i can confirm that this happens when accent colors for StartMenu and Taskbar are enabled in the Settings>Personalization>Colors. @Ih8l1ght Tell me if the issue still occurs after your changes.

Couldn't reproduce any issues even on a new Win11 on a VM install with latest stable version, make sure you followed the steps for TranslucentSearch and restart explorer.exe
to see the changes in the SearchHost.
