long data series hide the above panel

A displayed series of data hides the list of data series right above it,
especially if this list of series contains several rows and the TT window
is not maximised.

Could some minimal space be reserved for it, possibly depending on the
number of series?

I'm not sure what you mean.  Can you please describe the steps you took and 
tell me
what you expected to see?

It's kind of hard to explain, but obvious from the pictures i attached (I hope)

The first shows a maximised TT screen, no problem there.

The second one shows the same screen when you unmaximise. Notice how the upper 
middle
sub-window where you normally would select the series to display has 
disappeared.

Should you maximise again, the problem persists.
