Wrong Wiki entry for CherryPy Integration #151

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Read http://code.google.com/p/modwsgi/wiki/IntegrationWithCherryPy
2. Wonder that this dont work!

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
CherryPy tries to start its own Server (not good!).

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
CherryPy 3.1+

Please provide any additional information below.
cherrypy.server.unsubscribe() and all works well. See
http://www.cherrypy.org/wiki/UpgradeTo31 for this!

Greetings
Betz Stefan

Thanks for the information, but I can't keep up with updates made in packages
that can run on mod_wsgi. As
such, have decided to deprecate various integration guides and push it back on
to maintainers of third party
packages to maintain their own documentation on how to use their package with
mod_wsgi and as such,
remove the guides from mod_wsgi wiki and replace them with a link to package's
own documentation. If the
package maintainers don't want to do that because they favour their own or
alternate hosting mechanisms,
then that is their decision.

Announcement on list about this is at:
