Arch Linux now has mod_wsgi in the "extra" repositor, it was removed from AUR #199

The installation page says to get the package from Arch Linux's AUR. This
is no longer needed (or possible).

mod_wsgi can be installed by "sudo pacman -S mod_wsgi". The AUR package
isn't even there anymore.

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, I wasn't sure where else to
send it.

Sorry, not sure I totally understand.

Are you saying it is now part of standard Arch Linux distribution or repository
and so no need to grab it from
third party repository and/or non standard package repository.

Usual place to discuss this is mod_wsgi mailing list as easier to carry out a
conversation there.

I sent the following message to the mailing list, but googlegroups kicked back a
"group not found or insufficient privileges" error. I'm not sure if it's simpy
waiting for you to authorize the message or something.

To answer your question, yes, mod_wsgi has been added to the official
Arch Linux repository (both i686 and x86_64) so there is no longer any
need to use the 3rd party packages. In fact, the 3rd party package has
been taken off the site (your link gives a 404).

The official package is at version 3.2-1 and there is currently no
dedicated maintainer (I believe the arch team in general updates it
when new versions are released).

Here's the package information:

You need to have joined the group through Google Groups before you can send
messages to it. I can't see that
you have joined recently at least.

I will update documentation when have sufficient state of mind and time to do
so.

Closing as bad links were already removed from Linux installation page.
