Crosslet example doesnt work

It doesnt throw an error. No map shows up.

Cloudmade closed down their free map tiles, which was the default for Crosslet. I have a fix that switches things over to a different tile provider and will be pushing it to github soon.

Also the third example in Datamaps( all 3 dont work as advertised) doesn't work either. Again thanks for the quick response. Unfortunately I'm blocked until these get fixed.

I'm getting an error upon trying to install the tools (in an attempt to replicate the crosslet example). I have them exactly as you have them listed in the example. I'm guessing you may be working on them in such a way that renders them incapable of downloading?

Bump. I too am seeing this issue with the examples. Is there a timeline to the fix? I am not experienced enough in R to send a pull request so I await your patch.

I am sorting through some path related issues that I had not anticipated earlier. I would rather get them right than hurry up so that the API doesnt have to change after that. I hope to have a solution in the next week and a half. So stay tuned. Thanks for your patience.

Just FYI, using RStudio, I have the same issue as cantgetthatping posted here on Jan 18, 2015. The crosslet example renders an image that looks just like the one he posted.

However, I am happy to report that the other examples using ichoropleth() work beautifully. rMaps is an amazing package!
