rMaps: Issue between JSON Data and R Objects #88

I am new to R and rMaps and I do not quite understand this issue. My code: crosslet(x="Location",y=c("Laughs"),data=data)

Console Log: Error in rjson::toJSON(params[names(params) != "dimensions"]) : unable to escape string. String is not utf8
