Fatal: Read Error: Could not read or parse the JNLP file. #177

1.7.6 on Ubuntu 12.10 fails to start.

Message is as follows:

XML Parse Exception during parsing of the XML definition at line 1: Expected: 
'<' but got: ''

This is caused by an invisible whitespace character in the beginning of the 
JNLP file and can only be corrected by compiling and signing a new version.

This will be corrected in version 1.7.7 and higher.
