Buttons- When clicked and closed, the menu item is never unhighlighted #15

Describe the bug When a user clicks any left-hand panel and then closes the panel, the icon remains highlighted

To Reproduce

  1. Open CCCS
  2. Click Export button
  3. Close the Export panel
  4. Observe Export button

Expected behavior As I've closed the panel, I expect the export highlight to disappear Screenshots It remains highlighted until the user clicks another item.
